Right, well I've installed a small form factor AMD embedded motherboard. Installation really was easy and trouble free really. Being on Mini ITX you normally run into clearance issues fast. Choose you components wisely and keep some margins. Your two biggest challenges are the PSU and its wiring and the CPU cooler height limitation of 125 mm. After that you can go nuts. Keep in mind that the SFX power supply needs to be able to drive whatever you have installed. So a Kaby lake 7700K with Z270 mini ITX board and say a GeForce GTX 1080 DOES require some juice in terms of energy. But the beauty is that the installation and spacing allows for even be an AMD Radeon RX 480 or GeForce GTX 1080 as they do fit.

There was enough working space for cabling, the 8-pin CPU power cable has plenty of reach as well, the chassis isn't big. Mind you that at the front side you COULD mount a simple radiator 120mm radiator. Something like a Hydro H55/H75 and even H80i V2 Corsair cooler would fit, and that would be perfect for some liquid cooling of your processor of course.

Now here is the money shot, the aluminum cover in white is already pretty sexy, but the top cover has a see through window allowing you to look directly at your graphics card.

And yes, with a little added LED light things clean up nicely. Unfortunately as stated and mentioned like three times now, our photos are taken in an all white photo studio, that is always a bit of a mess to look at with plexi-glass see-through panels. You get the idea though.
