Fan control options/placement
Fan speed is temperature-controlled. The fan RPM range depends on what fan model you use.
Fan control on the Biostar B550 GTQ can be accessed both in the BIOS or through the Racing GT Evo utility in Windows. The Biostar B550 GTQ provides:
- 1 x CPU fan header
- 1 x opt fan header
- 2 x system fan header
There is one header for the CPU fan above the socket.
One (opt) fan connector is located close to the first PCIe slot.
Two chassis fan headers are located in the bottom-left part of the motherboard.
