Included in this package was an AudioQuest VDM-X S/Pdif cable.

We usually frown on the ultra-expensive high end super cables that litter the high end market place.  This is not really the case with this cable as its price is reasonable in our opinion and the cable is of high quality. 

During our testing this cable provided a very secure connection for our test DAC and S/Pdif sources. This cable offers a shielded design featuring hard cell foam and silver plated braiding and signal conductor.

According to manufacturer information the terminated RCA ends are gold plated and we will say they bite into the coaxial outputs like a pit-bull on a steak.  Once they have been connected they want to remain connected and you need to apply a firm turning action to get them to release.
