As always, we begin with the packaging. It's a simple yet informative thing to show when you purchase a chassis; you probably do not want any defects and scratches. The product is packaged in cardboard. The big dent at the top side did not result in damage.

Once you take the unit out of the cardboard box, you'll notice two layers of polystyrene protecting the unit, which on its end, is covered in a plastic bag.

A small box includes the mesh from and top panels for extra airflow if desired. So there it is, the chassis weighs a good 12 kg.

It definitely houses a couple of pleasant surprises. The design is kept simple yet very stylish, with no bright lights and screaming logos - subtlety is a key factor. The dark black design is easy on the eyes. That is a nice visual touch.

You can choose from a black or white theme/style color, and a tempered glass left side panel version. TBH this all-black unit is a little more ordinary looking. On both sides of the side panels, you will spot air vents at the front side. The big vents at the front top and bottom all come with a dust filter.

When we flip the unit around, we can see the side panel and back a little better. Again, simple but stylish. The panels can be removed by pressing a button; we like that! The chassis size is 539 x 281 x 553mm (WxHxD), including two feet that we have yet to install. A good three low RPM fans are already included for the front (3 x Be Quiet! Pure Wing 2 |140mm 1,000rpm).
