As always we begin with packaging. It's a simple yet informative thing to show as when you purchase a chassis, you probably do not want any defects and scratches on it. The product is packaged in cardboard.

Once you take the unit out of the cardboard box you'll notice two layers of polystyrene protecting the unit, which on its end is covered in a cloth bag.

The front bezel door is taped so it can not break free during transportation. So there it is, the chassis weighs a good 9 kg.

It definitely houses a couple of pleasant surprises. The design is kept simple yet very stylish, no bright lights and screaming logos - subtlety is a key factor. The dark black design is easy on the eyes. That is a nice visual touch. You can choose from a black orange or black silver theme / style color as well. TBH this all black unit is a little more dull looking. On both sides of the side panels you will spot air vents. The smaller vent in the corner comes fitted with a dust filter.

When we flip the unit around we can see the side panel and back a little better. Again, simple but stylish. The panels can be removed with two thumbscrews. The size of the chassis is 95 x 266 x 559mm (WxHxD), including two feet that we have yet to install. A good three low RPM fans are already included for the front (2 x Be Quiet! Pure Wing 2 |140mm 1,000rpm) and rear (1 x Be Quiet! Pure Wing 2 | 120mm 1,500 RPM).

At the front side at the top right we see the power on switch and a HDD activity LED. Connectors wise you'll have plenty of them including USB 3.0 x2, USB 2.0 x2, MIC/Headphones.

On the top rear we see a mesh. Good for top side exhaust ventilation. Below the top mesh you can house a radiator as there is room for a 120/140/240/280 radiator. Obviously you can go nuts with other fans here as well as installing other formats of LCS (liquid cooling system) radiators.
