Product Showcase CPU Cooler

The cooler is packaged in the traditional black/white/orange be quiet! design box. As you can see, bundled is Pure Wings 3 135mm PWM fan, these are running a fairly low RPM at default though, but above anything, are silent. You could add another fan if you wanted too, for a bit of push-pull fun.

Even under harsh overclocking conditions, the dual-heatsink design with six high-performance copper heat pipes ensures maximum performance, while the top-flow design ensures optimal cooling not just for the CPU but also for the motherboard components in close proximity to it.

Dark Rock TF 2 is nearly inaudible, owing to a Silent Wings 3 135mm with a funnel-shaped entry as the higher fan and a Silent Wings 135mm (without a funnel-shaped entry) as the lower fan, both of which are Silent Wings.

Both fans are equipped with a long-lasting fluid-dynamic bearing, smooth six-pole motors, and up to nine airflow-optimized fan blades, all of which contribute to a low noise level of 27.1 dB(A) at 100 percent pulse width modulation.

Vibration-dampening rubber inserts on the heat sink fins help to reduce undesired operational noise even further.

The fin stack itself is moved back slightly in order to bring the fan closer to the centre of the cooler, and helping with RAM compatibility. Mind you there is a powder-coated black version available as well. Some thermal paste has been applied to the cooling base btw.
