Product Installation

Once you place the cooler into its mounting position, we'll need to screw secure a linear mounting bracket. You will, however, notice that a screwdriver cannot reach the screws located at the bottom, the motherboard. Please look above, I have removed the two caps linear towards the screw positions at the bottom.

You'll need a long screwdriver with a magnetic head to be able to mount the cooler, however, the kit includes such a screwdriver for you.

And while I've used my own screwdriver here, basically this is what you are looking at, you push the screwdriver through the hole, put a screw on the magnetic head, and then down below mount the linear horizontal bracket secure. It's a bit unusual but works really well. Mind you that the middle fan needs to come out for this process of course. Secure it tightly.

Once the cooler has been mounted, you can install the fan again, tie it with the two metal clips and at the top plate, screw back the two caps. As you can see, we (still) use the Z97 Sabertooth, as it is one of the most difficult motherboards to use with all the shielding stuff from ASUS. The cooler like a glove though.

With the cooler and fans in place, take the two fan cables, and connect them to the y-splitter, you can now plug in the fan cable connector towards the FAN header on your motherboard and you're good to go.

Two DIMMs will fit well, however as you can see I use really high-profile memory here, and the last slot cannot be used, the Pro 4 does have an indentation for higher DIMMs, it's however not enough for a Dominator kit.
