In Game Quality settings performance measured

Now you have just been able to notice how bad performance is on the Radeon HD 6850, but also GeForce GTX 560 Ti (a more expensive card I must say). regardless if you play at 1920x1200/1080 you will need to forfeit on any of the image quality settings we mentioned on the previous page. We feel that even medium image quality settings offer a tremendous looking game (AA aside).

But what does that do with performance ? Well let's have a look.

Radeon HD 6850

So above the Radeon HD 6850, the result shocked me. The minute you stick to HIGH quality mode, 1600x1200 becomes very playable at 38 FPS already. The only thing different here in-between Ultra mode is lacking AA. At medium quality mode you still get an awesome quality experience, and heck that's where frame rates go through the board even up to 1920x1200.

Guys, this card can be found for 135 EUR already.

GeForce GTX 560 Ti

So the GeForce GTX 560 Ti then, this 200 EUR card is more expensive then the previous one we tested, but that shows in performance. When you stick to HIGH quality settings mode up-to 1920x1200 is very playable. And for us that remains a sweet spot.
