AudioTrak Prodigy 7.1 - Package Contents
Package Contents
The box that arrived from AudioTrak was rather small and lightweight. Besides the card itself, it came with a driver CD, a dead-tree user manual, an AudioTrak product catalog, and a gigantic pack of silica gel.
That is a mighty big pack of silica gel, let me tell you.
It's a pretty light package. Other manufacturers will throw in a ¼" headphone adapter, or some AA batteries for a remote. Not with the Prodigy.
Honestly, it's the biggest packet of silica gel I've ever seen.
I can't even eat the pack of silica gel.
The driver CD does come with a little bit of software.
- Intervideo's WinDVD 4.0
- Emersys Corp. Maven 3D Professional
- FASoft n-Track Studio SE
- SpinAudio NSP
Most of the software is apparently a trial version. The only software, besides the WinDVD, that allowed saving anything was the n-Track Studio SE. In the real 'trial' versions section of the CD you'll find Steinberg's Cubase SX, WaveLab, as well as some Native Instruments demos.
In essence, not a whole lot. On a counterpoint, the Absynth, a synthesizer from Native Instruments, is rather impressive in its ability to suck away hours of ones time. The bundle you get is some powerful professional-strength stuff.
