Alright, so here we have the unit shipped in. Mint blue and white packaging. Inside the NAS unit, manual, CAT6 cable and power adapter.
Opening up the box you'll notice a very well packaged product. Chances of damage are fairly slim as the NAS is cushioned in-between two Styrofoam blocks.
The front side of the AS3204T unit looks a bit simple when it's powered off really. Since this is the more affordable model you will not get any (removable/hot-swappable) drive trays. The box needs to be opened up to seat the HDDs behind that front panel - which has activity LEDs harbored in it. The AS3204T measures 165(H) x 164(W) x 218(D) mm. This unit weighs in at roughly 1.6 kg, mainly as the outer casing is metal, which makes this a very sturdy product I must say. First impressions, a decent looking device in black, I like it.
Bundled you'll find everything you need to get started. Power cable, Cat6e Ethernet cable, and of course a driver CD and manual as well as screws to secure the HDD storage units (which you obviously still need to buy).
