Router Software & Admin Interface

Once the router is linked to the LAN / WAN, restart your cable/fiber/dsl modem. Utilize your browser to view the installation wizard. If it does not work, navigate to 192.168.50.1 or router.asus.com (default router IP addresses with admin/admin logins if necessary).

Our configuration is quickly recognized, the router assigns us an IP address through DHCP, and we are ready to go. However, with our existing network structure, we have set up the mesh unit as AP. 

The internet connection is operational as a result of the router detecting a firmware upgrade pretty much instantly. In these days of security breaches and vulnerabilities, we'll want to update promptly, constantly even so enable automatic updates. After logging into the login screen (the username and password for the SSID WIFI and router are located on the sticker on the back of the router), you'll see the main menu with settings and a summary of the router's capabilities (pictured below).

BTW WPA2 is listed and was used, but the recent firmware also support WPA3.
