The front button, located at the bottom, has a ring light that indicates the current status of the network connection. The router itself is rather small and attractive to look at. Because of this, it will look good no matter where you position it. On either side of the ASUS ZenWiFi AX Hybrid are air vents, which help to keep the device cool.

A total of three LAN ports and one WAN port are located around the lower rear of the device. The power socket is located on the left side of the device, while a USB 3.0 connector is located on the right.

Start by plugging one of the devices into a power outlet and connecting it to your router through an Ethernet wire to get things going. To get your network up and running, use the Asus application and follow the on-screen instructions. In order to pair the two devices together, you'll need to plug the satellite device into the router within 3 meters of the router (before presumably unplugging and relocating it to where you actually want it), but aside from that, the process is about as simple as it gets and took me about 10 minutes from start to finish.

The name and QR code are located on the underside, and scanning these will allow you to get it up and running immediately.
