ASUS Xonar Essence STX Review

This driver pane is self explanatory; it is the signal routing mixer for your outputs (playback) and inputs (record) mixers.

We have faders for level settings, balance adjustment, muting.  The recording mixer has similar faders for input levels, Monitoring and for Mic-Boost and switch for a front panel microphone.

The effect driver panel offers just that, setting and configurations for all the Xonar Effects.

On the left side we have the reverb Engine, with various presets such as Room, Concert Hall, Pub and other more common to EAX type environments such a Stone hall, underwater, Dizzy and so on.  There is also a setting for the environment size which alters the reverb time from large, medium and small.

On the right hand side we have a 10 band graphic equalizer capable of boosting and cutting over a range of +20dB to -20 dB and offering 12 presets and a user savable preset system for your own personal settings.
