The board has been fitted with a Diagnostic POST LED. Once you pass all the boot codes in Windows it'll display the processor package temperature.

On board you will spot USB 3.1 Gen1 connectors as well as USB 3.1 Gen2 Type-C ports. However ASUS includes a  ThunderboltEX 3 daughter board that features two USB Type-C connectors and a USB 3.1 Gen 2 connector for 40Gbps of bandwidth to external gear. 

 
The audio chip used is the Realtek ALC1220S that offers 7.1-channel High Definition audio, it has been enhanced with proper capacitors. You can spot these to your far lower right.
