In addition to the regular SATA II ports, colored in brown see additional SATA 3 (6 GBit) ports, two of these come from Intel, the other two in white/grey are Marvell 928 based (these perform worse opposed to the native Intel 6G controllers as we'll demonstrate).

To your right in green we spot a USB 3.0 connector which you can use to connect brackets and frontpanel IO etc. USB 3.0 on this board is managed by three ASMedia USB 3.0 controllers. There are 4x USB 3.0 for RearIO and this connector has one ASMedia USB 3.0 controller assigned for frontpanel IO.

There are a lot of smaller headers for additional USB 2.0 ports, audio IO as well as frontpanel button/LED headers. We do miss power on/off/reset/clean CMOS buttons on the motherboard as well as diagnostic LEDs etc. But that's where you guys save on money. The TUF series never was intended to be an expensive series.

Check out the PCIe slot connectivity, that's three x16 slots and two x1 slots. Gen 3 compatibility is there as far as the motherboard goes in x16:x16:x8 configuration. Excellent for say dual-graphics cards and then an x8 for a Physx card.

Also one legacy PCI slot has been integrated for that soundcard of yours. The motherboard comes with a total of six fan headers, which is nice.
