At the lower edge of the board we see the header, front panel connectors, and functional buttons etc. And if we zoom in a tiny bit:

Yes, there are some buttons available to be able to power on and reset directly from the motherboard alongside an LED strip header and VROC key connector.  The motherboard boasts an LED system in combination with their SYNC App, RGB strips are now supported as well. Also a Diagnostic POST / status LED has been embedded.

So here we can spot the PCI-Express slots a bit better. These are configured as:

  • 44-Lane CPU-
    • 3 x PCIe 3.0/2.0 x16 (x16, x16/x16, x16/x16/x8)
    • 2 x PCIe 3.0 x4 (max at x4 mode)
  • 28-Lane CPU-
    • 3 x PCIe 3.0/2.0 x16 (x16, x16/x8, x16/x8/x1)
    • 2 x PCIe 3.0 x4 (max at x4 mode)
  • 16-Lane CPU-
    • 3 x PCIe 3.0/2.0 x16 (x16, x8/x8, x8/x8/x1)
    • 2 x PCIe 3.0 x4 (max at x4 mode)

Again, your choice in processor will define how many PCI-Express lanes you'll get, currently only the Core i9 7900 will support a full 44 lane configuration.
