Asus ROG Strix Helios PC Chassis Review -
Product Showcase - Exterior
The looks are daunting alright, the tempered glass gives it that proper look and feel. The front side glass panel is RGB lit with an included RGB controller. You can also hook it up to an RGB header on your ASUS motherboard of course and regulate it all and sync it up.
The Helios provides plenty of space for radiators and can support many case fans. Four 140mm fans come as standard. The chassis has a modest size of 250mm x 591mm x 565mm. Motherboard form factors supported are: E-ATX, ATX, microATX, Mini-ITX.
At the back side we see eight plus two expansion slots, dual-slot cards can be set up in Crossfire or SLI mode as well, as one card could be mounted vertically (you'd need a riser cable of course). All the way below we see the PSU section. PSU wise, you name it... it'll fit as we'll show you later on.
All vents have dust covers, easy to take out, clean and place back again. There's one up top, bottom, and front side.
Above, the top side dust filter, that is unlocked with a push at the rear side.
At the top, the front panel connectivity can be found, including 4x USB 3.1 Gen 1, 1x USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type C, power, reset, headphone and mic. You will also see a button to cycle through RGB animations at the left side and, to the right side, a two-step fan controller (low and high).
