Showcase ROG Ryujin 240

Now it’s time for the Ryujin series. Let’s start with the smaller one, the 240 mm version. The box is almost the same as for the Ryuo 240, meaning also robust and sturdy. Besides the name of the product, you can only see the ASUS AURA logo displayed on the front, indicating RGB compatibility.

Again, you can see the features of the provided cooler and the specifications listed on the back of the box. What’s inside?

So you can see the radiator, two Noctua fans, a manual, and installation accessories.

Again inside you’ll also find AMD and Intel backplates, screws, washers, and thumbscrew caps.

Unlike in the Ryuo 240, the Micro USB cable is already connected (permanently) to the block. Let’s check the rest now.

Today we’re putting the new Asus ROG THOR 1000W PLATINUM II power supply on our test bench. The company is not so much known from their PSUs (as they’re rather associated with the motherboards, graphic cards, monitors, or peripherals). Still, we had a chance to check the first Thor at the end of 2018, when the 1200W version was reviewed (priced 329 EUR/USD), earning the “Best Hardware” award. Will the new version be as successful?
