The Strix lights up fairly pretty alright when powered on, much like all designs, heat travels mostly upwards mostly, however, the card has decent enough front side vents (mesh), though the connectors are blocking a lot of it. As we always state, chassis ventilation not just a must, with this design it's a necessity. We'll look a bit closer at that in our thermal imaging chapter though.

Size then, that's roughly 30 cm / 12 inches of graphics card right there. Please always do make sure that the card physically fits inside your chassis as that is a bit on the lengthy side alright. For most modern age chassis it, however, should not be an issue.
