Overclocking The Graphics Card
Overclocking The Graphics Card
Traditional overclocking - As most of you know, with most video cards you can apply a simple series of tricks to boost the overall performance a little. Typically you can tweak on core clock frequencies and voltages. By increasing the frequency of the videocard's memory and GPU, we can make the videocard increase its calculation clock cycles per second.

Original | This sample | Overclocked |
Boost Clock: 1,200 MHz | Boost Clock: 1,256 MHz | Max Boost Clock: 1,280 MHz |
Memory Clock: 7,000 MHz | Memory Clock: 7,000 | Memory Clock: 7,500 MHz |
We used an internal beta of AfterBurner to try out some tweaking, this build is not yet out for the public and might take a while before it is released. Overclocking unfortunately on our sample was pretty much impossible. We actually halted testing any further. The card is tweaked for you already, I'd suggest to leave it at that.
