ASUS ProArt PA278QV 60Hz monitor, user does not have to expect gaming opportunities from it. With Trace Free 60, no visible artefacts were seen with fast-moving objects.
Calibration results
Since ASUS ProArt PA278QV has Black level settings in the menu, Gain RGB and Offset RGB we can calibrate the monitor more accurately. The following settings were set for 120 cd/m²:
- Color Temp - 6500K (default)
- Gamma - 2.2 (default)
- Contrast 80 (default)
- Brightness - 13
- Gain RGB - 54 50 53
- Black level - 44
- Offset RGB - 49 49 48
After calibration, the accuracy of the color rendering of the matrix significantly improved, although the basic presets could not be called mediocre.

The color temperature has approached the necessary 6500K, and the gamma curves exactly repeat the reference curve. Compliance with the sRGB color field is almost 100%, while the color coverage has remained as wide. DeltaE deviations reached 0.29 on average (norm - 1.5) and 1.02 on maximum deviation (norm - 4). Such results are impressive for the $300 price segment. ASUS ProArt PA278QV is able to seriously compete with expensive professional monitors, which often cost over $600.
