The GeForce GTX 580 comes with 1536 MB memory. The reference card is clocked at a 772 MHz core frequency, 1544 MHz on the shader processors and the GDDR5 memory runs at 4000 MHz (effective). ASUS clocks this card 10 MHz higher (?). Yes, we did expect a massive factory overclock TBH, but that is not the case.
So The DirectCU- II version runs at 782 MHz on the core, 1564 on the shaders and 4008 MHz on the memory. Well, at least we know we can overclock the heck out of them, so no worries here just yet.
Connectivity wise, we see two dual-link DVI connectors supporting all high-resolution monitors and all the way to the top you can see a HDMI and Display Port connector. The upper side of the metal plate has large gaps for exhausting and not blocking hot air.
