The reference 3090 Ti cards have a peak boost clock up to 1860 MHz, the TUF Gaming boosts to 1950 MHz, with the base clock hovering in the 1.560 GHz domain. Be aware of the fact that the product oozes heat a lot, you'll need a good ventilated PC with a properly located intake(front) and vent (top).

The TUF Gaming OC cards from the RTX 30-series share dimensions of 300mm in length, 127mm in width, and 52mm in thickness. That is enormous by any standard; the Strix versions are larger. RGB is confined to the TUF logo, and power is supplied through that 16-pin connection, which is plenty given the limited overclocking headroom. We do recommend an > 1000W power supply when using Ryzen 9 or Core i9 processors.

ASUS installed three axial fans on the TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3090 Ti graphics card, which spin on two ball bearings, which should improve durability over time. Additionally, the two side fans spin in the opposite direction of the main fan, while the middle fan rotates in the other direction.

The rear of the card is protected by a stylish metal backplate that conceals the circuit board. However, it features a cutout that directs hot air onto the top chassis fan(s), which should further assist keep temps down.

Dual HDMI 2.1 and three DisplayPort ports provide adequate versatility but keep in mind that the card can only drive four monitors simultaneously, not five. Asus says that each card goes through a 144-hour stress test before being certified TUF enough for sale and touts a new I/O bracket with over twice the tensile strength of a normal one. Such implied dependability and robustness are not reflected in the guarantee, which remains a three-year industry norm. We'd love to see this model with five. Above you can see the BIOS switch, we strongly recommend the Q mode (silent) as the P mode was far too noisy in our experience.

ASUS includes the new 3x 8-pin to 16-pin converter. Just make sure you have a powerful enough PSU though, as stated, on a high-end system a kilowatt power supply is a path to follow.  Also remember, if you need to use the adapter cable, you need to have at least 3x 8-pin PCIe Graphics power connectors available.
