The new card is also built with heard-wearing polymerized organic-semiconductor capacitors (POSCAPs) and has an aluminum backplate, further lowering power noise, increasing durability, enhancing overclocking possibilities and improving stability.

Power connectors are located at the top side to give you a little extra room to play around with, you will need two 8-pin headers and we recommend a 650 Watt power supply to start with. ASUS tucked 4 GB of graphics memory on this card. That boils down as 2 GB per GPU.  3GB and higher we feel is a sweet spot for high-end anno 2013, especially with Ultra HD gaming in mind, so graphics memory is on the scarse side..

Very sturdy alright, nice backplate there. Two gaps to the left and right allow the backside of the GPU to get rid of heat. We'll show you that with thermal imaging on the next pages though. The Mars 760 even looks great, with a nice LED light that glows a glorious red and pulsates when Mars 760 is active.

The cooler features a reinforcement baseplate that helps maintain a straight PCB (Printed Circuit Board). But let's start examining the product shall we ?
