DX9: Hard Reset

DX9: Hard Reset

Hard Reset is a PC-exclusive FPS from The Flying Wild Hog, a Polish developer that is made up from members of the team behind Painkiller (People Can Fly), and former developers from CD Projekt Red and City Interactive.

In development since April 2009, the game features a cyberpunk plot. It draws inspiration from William Gibson, Neal Stephenson, and Philip K. Dick (especially Blade Runner in story). In gameplay, Serious Sam is the main inspiration; explosive barrels and large hordes of enemies will be prominent within the game. There is no multiplayer.

Hard Reset was added into our benchmark suite as it has a handy to use benchmark mode that is very representative of the in-game graphics engine performance. Above multiple results as we included six other factory overclocked model, a reference clocked model GTX 660 Ti as well as a Radeon HD 7870.

As you can see Kepler likes DX9 titles. Impressive performance, and as you'll see throughout the test sessions. The GTX 660 Ti series, especially the factory overclocked editions are close to the GTX 670.

But always keep looking at reference performance please.
