Anyway, enough dirty sex talk ... let's get down to business. First up, the rear IO connectivity. But let me zoom in a little here. By the way we get a lot of question on the plexi-glass based test benches we use. These are not available in the USA and EU at all and have been custom made, sorry.

From left to right that's a PS2 keyboard connector. Then I count a total of nine USB ports of which the blue colored ones are USB 3.0, then one green colored eSATA port, Firewire, unfortunately there is only one Gigabit Ethernet ?! Digital audio in the form of optical TOSLINK connector, and then all the way to the right the analog audio connectors.

You can also spot a button for CMOS clear and ROG Connect. Well, that certainly is a good start, that back panel is stuffed full to the last square inch. The vertical ROG Connect port can also be used as regular USB port.

When we flip the board around we stumble into the processor area, socket AM3. To the right of the big stealthy black heatsink we spot one 8-pin CPU power header, we see all ferrite core chokes and then quality capacitors catch the eye.

This is a small negative, the 8-pin header is almost pushed into the heat sink, it's that close. we actually had to push in the 8-pin PSU power header really hard using a little force. It's not a big issue, but a little more clearance would have been nicer alright.
