Alright let's get a little deeper into the hardware with a photo-shhoot. We start off with packaging ... we always show it so you guys know what to look for in the store. The ASUS ROG style box design is apparent alright.

After unpacking you'll notice a well styled and stealthy designed motherboard. That's a great looking board with the all new passively cooled heatsink, a feature-rich motherboard alright. Nice black PCB with red ROG coloring scheme and the usual complementary products.

You'll spot one motherboard and a manual that explains every aspect of the board. Other than that you'll find a back I/O panel protector, Crossfire bridge connectors, various chassis stickers and also four S-ATA cables, RC connect USB cable, USB and eSATA port headers, IO rear backplane, front panel jumper extenders and a manual + driver CD.

Incredibly eye-catching is of course the stealthy cooling setup, look at those heatpipes and sinks getting all geeky there, I find that breathtaking. But sure, that's personal as some might also dislike the design.

I mean, from all angles that certainly is good looking motherboard alright. The ROG plating on the Southbridge however was one tiny step too much, one step too flashy.
