Assasin's Creed: Valhalla
PC graphics performance review and analysis

It's a bit of a feast for the eyes; yes, we'll check it out in a PC graphics performance and PC gamer way. We'll test the game on the PC platform relative to graphics card performance with the latest AMD Radeon and NVIDIA GeForce graphics cards. We've lined up close towards 30 graphics cards but unfortunately can show you the perf just yet for some unreleased cards. What a treat for the eyes this game is. I mean, really, I was not rather enthusiastic about reviewing a Ubisoft title series that has seen quite a few issues in the past. But Valhalla looks transcendent, even without the latest tech like Raytracing. It's a game that is brutal on the GPU, though, as you're about to find out. Many graphics cards are being tested and benchmarked in this all patched up game. Based on an AnvilNext 2 render engine, which also is responsible for Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, Assassin's Creed Valhalla is a DirectX 12 based title. The engine is just great, though, with crisp scenery, wonderful weather effects, and detailed scenes.

Many graphics cards are being tested and benchmarked.  You will need a reasonably modern PC with at least a mainstream graphics card to nicely run the game. This article will cover benchmarks in the sense of average framerates; we'll look at all popular resolutions scaling from Full HD (1920x1080), WQHD (2560x1440), and of course, Ultra HD. UHDTV (3840x2160) pixels, which are four times as many pixels as 1920x1080.  We test with the game based on the optimized and available AMD Radeon driver (download) and Nvidia, their GeForce WHQL driver (download). We'll test the game on the PC platform relative to graphics card performance with the AMD/NVIDIA graphics card drivers. With this title, we'll also move towards a new test platform, based on AMD Ryzen 9 5950X, currently the fastest gaming processors your money can get you. We should state that Assasin's Creed: Valhalla is an AMD sponsored title, that's also noticeable in-game performance as the latest cards perform really well.

The G1.Assassin 2 motherboard comes loaded with some very nice features, much like it predecessors it has an embedded Killer E2100 NIC, said to deliver better networking performance to hardcore gamers. The board itself comes with three PCI Express x16 slots for 3-way CrossFireX and SLI support .
