Storage connectivity then. SATA ports -- ASRock is equipping the board with the standard six SATA ports. These six are linked from the Intel PCH. All ports are SATA 3 thus 6 GBps so you can manage some seriously transfer speed with SSD and HDDs alright. To the right of the SATA ports we see a USB 3.0 host connector BTW.
Ah let me just zoom in a little, the six SATA 3 ports and to the right the USB 3.0 Host connector. Just behind the SATA connector spot the usage of quality Japanese capacitors, gold colored.
In a perspective view we can see the three PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slots; four PCI-Express x1 slots as previously discussed. Just drop them graphics cards in there at weird sexy combo's the lowest it'll drop to is at a x8 gen3 lane configuration, meaning you still have far too much bus bandwidth for current generation graphics cards. Here we can also get a better look at the heatsinks the board uses. What I haven't mentioned just yet is that the motherboard makes use of an ATX form factor, that means it fits pretty much any chassis easily.
