The board is based on a 16+2+1 power phase design and cooled by big aluminium heat sinks. The PCB is 8-layers. The motherboard has one 2.5 Gb, one 1 Gb Ethernet jack, and a wireless LAN module (Wi-Fi 6E). The ASRock X670E Steel Legend includes two full-length PCIe slots, with the top two operating at PCIe 5.0 x16 and the second one at PCIe 3.0x16. The third slot is a shorter PCIe 3.0 x1. ASRock includes one PCIe 5.0 x4 M.2 slots and three PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 slots. It is also possible to connect four SATA ports for storage. Four memory banks support up to 128 Gb of DDR5-6600+ (OC). There is no onboard power, reset button, or two-digit LED debugger.

Wi-Fi is available; it’s an 802.11ax 6E Module and supports IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ax. Two Ethernet controllers provide networking: a 2.5 Gigabit Dragon RTL8125BG and a 1 Gigabit Realtek RTL8111. Also - there are six USB 3.2  Gen1 ports, one USB 3.2 Gen2x2 Type-C (20 Gb/s), one USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A (10 Gb/s), and four UB 2.0 ports on the rear panel. You can also find HDMI and DisplayPort 1.4 video outputs for users utilizing Intel’s integrated graphics.

The onboard audio is based on the ALC1220 codec. The other features are:

• Nahimic Audio

There is no metal reinforcement plate at the back of the motherboard. As for memory support:
