ASRock B550 Steel Legend review - Performance - dGPU - 3DMark Time Spy

Performance - GeForce RTX 2080 Ti - 3DMark Time Spy

3DMark includes everything you need to benchmark your hardware. Time Spy is way more GPU-dependent, though, but still a very representative title in relation to PC gaming performance.

  • The default Time Spy CPU test does not scale beyond processors with 10 or more threads.

This makes covering the entire spectrum of 3D gaming a difficult task. It's multi-core and multi-threading aware. The standard Time Spy test is thread limited to 10 CPU cores. If a processor has faster turbo bins on these 10 cores, that's where it'll shine.
The (overall) results are higher due to the usage of the non-reference card rather than the Founders Edition from Nvidia.

ASRock B550 Steel Legend review
Meet the Asrock B550 Steel Legend motherboard. This series from ASRock is meant to give users great stability, a boatload of features, and an attractive design, all while keeping the price quite low. This is a 30.5 x 24.4 cm ATX factor product (there’s also an mATX version available) equipped with a B550 chipset, and it offers such features as 14 -phase power design, 2.5 gigabit ethernet (Dragon RTL8125BG), and a very sleek design. It’s priced at about 180 USD, and checks all boxes to give you a stable and durable system.
