 Product installation

The included manual describes the installation process, but you can also find it on the Arctic website and here for the AMD version. We’ll show it to you on the example of the AM4 platform. This cooler should be mounted horizontally.

First, remove the original installation elements from the motherboard (but leave the backplate). Then use the nylon spacers below the mounting modules, which need to be screwed into the backplate. Most modern cases have a giant cut-out for the CPU cooler, so there should be no need to pull the motherboard out to install the backplate (if needed).

A syringe of the Arctic MX-5 (0.8g) is provided, which you need to apply.

Last but not least – the base is secured by screws, but to do that – you need to remove the pre-installed fan.

After screwing in the base, you can re-install the fan on the radiator.

Then you plug in the 4-pin PWM fan cable to the motherboard’s fan header, and the same applies to the ARGB cable.
