Image Quality

So on the following two pages I want to show you a couple of in-game screenshots. First up a quick comparison in-between AMD Radeon and NVIDIA GeForce graphics cards.

In the screenshot below we have the Image quality setting at very high and are in a screen resolution of 2560x1600 pixels.

Anno 2070

This is the reference screenshot, the square in the middle is where we'll zoom in at:

Anno 2070

To your left NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580, and to the right AMD's Radeon HD 6970. Due to lapses in time here and there a wave will look different etc but other then that we have a hard time deciding if we can see any noticeable rendering differences. Mind you that these are JPEGs, compressed images aren't lossless.

Anno 2070 VGA Graphics performance review
The popular Anno series has been ongoing for many years now always based on history. The franchise decided to jump to the future, 58 years ahead of time. For Anno 2070 the graphics engine has been updated, the game is now DirectX 11 compatible. And as such it is time to throw a couple of graphics cards (well we can't say that nineteen graphics cards are a couple really) at it to see how well the game performs with DX11 cards Anno 2012.
