Final words and conclusion

For a first timer in the chassis market Anidées definitely makes an impression. As we stated on the previous page, the Anidées AI6 is an elegant, simple and definitely feature rich for a mid-tower chassis. You get a matte black designed chassis with feature wise options to put in many HDDs and devices. The chassis is fairly tool free, but does not have say easy click-in clips for your optical drives. You'll still be using the good old thumb-screws, that works fine of course.

The inside of the chassis is impressive and offers everything you may expect from a chassis anno 2011, there is enough space to maneuver in. Cable routing options are there, but there is not a plethora of space for your wiring though. A nice detail of course are the grommet holes for cable routing in the motherboard tray with the nice rubber inserts. The HDD/SSD drive cage work simple enough, though you do need screws to secure the actual HDDs, installation should be very easy otherwise.

As always looks are deceiving as taste differs per person. For me personally Anidées hit the hammer on the nail 1st time, it has great looks. The chassis doesn't scream, has very little logos, comes with a nice yet elegant dark design and the rounded edges really finishes it.

In terms of cooling you'll receive two fans, but you can easily fit more fans in there from top to bottom really. The the upper side of the chassis seems solid, it vents hot air through the indentations so airflow wise we have very little to complain about either.

The top side front panel connectivity has been done nicely as well, all connectors are hidden away quite stealthy. Maybe a tip for the next model would be a latch or door for the front panel though as on the top side there's bound the get dust inside the connectors over time. That's not critique yet more an advise though.

Inside there's not only plenty of space to work in, you can fit multiple graphics cards as well. And if you have an extremely lengthy one, then the upper HDD cage is removable. There's room for seven 3.5" HDDs, three optical drives and then the eight expansion slots and support for even the largest of graphics card just really make this chassis complete.

The paint job is of decent quality. Always do be careful if you purchase one and are installing the motherboard and other components, that paint is easily damaged, so use a cloth or something during installation of the PC.

So let's finish up this conclusion then. Features wise the Anidées AI-6 chassis is just very decent with a very tasteful design. And that brings the AI-6 at a level where it can compete with names like NZXT, Corsair and Cooler Master. Not a bad deal for the first ever chassis released by them.

It is a very decent 11 Kg sturdy build and the overall design is stylish enough for those that like it. The one critique I'd have is the front door, it feels like it will break off if you put too much pressure on it. Other than that the chassis is just really impressive. guru3d-recommended_150px.jpg

Being smack-down in the middle of high-end mid-towers means that the chassis also comes with a price tag that was a little higher than I expected. In Europe expect to pay roughly 100 to 110 EUR for this chassis, however it really is money well spent. We can definitely recommend the product as honestly there is very little wrong with it, you just need to really like the design I guess. My compliments to Anidées for bringing their first product to the market with such high quality, design and features.
