Anidees AI CRYSTAL XL AR PC Chassis review - Product showcase – exterior

The crystal clear see-through glass has a pleasant dark tint. That brings in an extraordinary finish and feel.

Now, a little more detail on the front panel; it features USB 3.0 x 2, USB 2.0 x 2, HD Audio. The power button has a power/on/off LED. There is a fan controller, which can be complemented by the addition of a remote control.

There is no place for 5.25" drives, optical units seem to be considered a thing of the past. But you could always connect an external one, via USB of course. As for the mass storage, you can house up to a staggering fifteen HDDs and up-to 17 SSDs.

Water cooling options are possible, with support for 480 mm radiators up to 100 mm thick in the front (when fans are positioned towards the outside) + 480 mm at the top, and a 140 mm radiator at the rear.

At the bottom there is a fan filter for the PSU and four sturdy feet, which help this unit to 'breathe', lifting it upwards into the air.

As for the front magnetic filter, it’s hidden under the panel and it’s relatively easy (easier than expected) to remove.

The front panel has less than 3 cm wide vents for intake. Will that be enough? It’ll be checked in practice on the following pages.

The thickness of the steel is the same as declared by the manufacturer, it’s 1 mm, so definitely a nice result, this should be stiff and sturdy enough.

Anidées AI-6 chassis review
There is a new player in the PC casing / chassis arena, they are named Anidées and recently they have introduced their first product into the market. Their first chassis released is the AI-6, it comes in three models, standard black, one with a side panel window and a sound dampened version. We'll check out the 'regular' model, but as you'll notice very little is actually regular about this chassis.
