Games performance – 3733 MHz vs 3600 MHz using the 1:1 Infinity Fabric divider

Games performance – 3733 MHz vs 3600 MHz using the 1:1 Infinity Fabric divider

Once we switch from 3600 towards 3733 Mhz on the memory, the interconnect (infinity fabric) will configure from 1:1 towards 1:2, and thus the Infinity fabric bandwidth halves, but on this page, we have checked the recommended (by AMD) frequency with a 1:1 divider set manually (it's even possible to achieve 3800 MHz, but that's a difficult task to make stability wise.

Running 3733 MHz brings about ~2 % improvement. That's quite nice and for some, it can be worth the effort.
