Overclocking With Ryzen 7 1700 - Benchmark Results
Results - Ryzen 7 1700X / 4000 MHz / 2667 MHz DDR4
Below, you can find a handful of results we ran with the overclocked settings as explained on the previous page. All processor cores are stable enough to finish results at roughly 4.0 GHz and the memory at 2667 MHz (CL16). The same settings as previous benchmark runs have been used here. Since overclocking will vary per motherboard and per processor we will show more overclock results in the standalone X370 motherboard reviews, of course.
Above, you can see wPrime running 109 seconds on 1,024M at defaults clocks, which already is impressive TBH. Overclocked at 4.0 GHz you'll notice it is 14 seconds faster.
Agaim I cannot stress enough that the 1700 has nothing more than the Noctua heatpipe cooler.
Cinebench also favors all cores clocked at 4.1 GHz, actually at this stage I had it at 4125 MHz. That brought the score upwards to 19.85 CB.
