Radeon RX 6800, 6800 XT, and 6900 XT all have been fitted with 16 Gigabytes of GDDR6 memory; it runs at 16 Gbps (effective data rate), which is a data-rate most of us can identify with when compared to the last-gen products. We'll show you the full specification details on the next pages.

The reference cooling design for Big Navi is based on a beefy sized cooler holding three fans. The cards all get HDMI 2.1 connectors and the latest iteration in DisplayPort. The 6900 XT is nicely packaged and wrapped in a complementary AMD Radeon themed mousemat.

You will not see the new 12-pin power connecter header introduced by NVIDIA; the cards will hold your normal position 6 and 8-pin headers; configuration depends on AIC/AIB choices as partner cards are free to choose and use whatever they deem applicable. It's the same cooler as the 6800 XT, so visually, there are no differences.

The cards weigh in at roughly 1.5 kg. You can certainly argue the aesthetic look and feel of the reference cards, but if this is not to your taste or preference, obviously, board partners will have more advanced cooled products to offer. Word out on the cyber-street is that this will take place in Q1 2021.

A fully closed front side indicates that air is passing through the cooling design from bottom to top. And that also means you'll need good airflow inside that chassis of yours. Below you can see the dual 8-pins power connectors.
