This data compression test again comes from PCMark Vantage and examines the system for other issues such as potential in-game level loading times by adding some hard disk testing to the mix. It runs only two simultaneous threads which will bring the results a bit closer together.
Again a PCMark vantage test, we fire off two threads at the processor and observe how it deals with more every day tasks such as searching for contacts. So only two cores are really used in this test.
But enough synthetic testing let's move onwards to game performance.
