AMD FreeSync Review With the Acer XG270HU Monitor -
The Acer Predator XG270HU Monitor
What comforting to the eye is that the screen is matte dark, there is very little refraction. Very stylish are the thin bezels. That is a nice looking monitor right there eh ? The screen itself is rather unique being that is is a 2560x1440 TN screen. To reduce eye strain and potential long-term damage to eye health by heavy users such as gamers and programmers, the XG270HU is built with Acer EyeProtect technologies. This includes flicker-less technology that eliminates screen flicker through a stable supply of power; ComfyView which reduces reflection from light sources on the non-glare panel, low-dimming technology that adjusts screen brightness when working in non-optimal lighting conditions, and a blue light filter to reduce blue light exposure.
A basic tilt adjustment is offered by the stand, and the screen is VESA compliant. The XG270HU’s edge-to-edge frameless display maximizes the viewing area and affords a seamless viewing experience for multi-monitor setups.
The XG270HU is expected to be available to purchase at the end of March ~ mid April 2015, exciting was the news that this model also features AMD FreeSync support.
