9 - PowerColor photoshoot
Powercolor Radeon HD 4850 512MB GDDR3
PowerColor then. Having a deja-vu, aren't you? Yeah the only thing different is the sticker quite honestly.
Overall it's a pretty kickass card. The card itself is 100% the same as the reference design we just told you all about. Except for the stickers, you will not spot a single difference.
PowerColor nicely covers the fragile area's with little plastic covers. The 4850 has two Crossfire connectors. So CrossfireX comes to mind. For say 3x200=600 bucks you could hook up three of these and have a pretty interesting 3000 GigaFLOPS experience. Think about that for a moment.
As stated DVI connectors, again both dual-link DVI of course. In the middle you can see a 7-pin HDTV-out mini-din. A user can plug an S-video cable directly into the connector, or use a dongle for YPrPb (component) or composite outputs, or use the 3-way RCA HDTV analog connector.
And there she is, doing a good workout in our test-lab.
