The Photo Shoot
Right, let's undress the product to see what it looks like in a series of photos that we took. All images you see are copyrighted, please do not use or deeplink them. And since I get questions about this often; the photos have been taken with a Sony DCS F707 at a high resolution and have been scaled down.
If you are on dialup/modem: sorry, but this is a broadband site so it can take a while before the page has loaded completely.
There it is, the Albatron's PC6800 WiseFan 3 & Passive cooling. Colorful PCB, eye catching heatpipe element that covers the graphics core and an even more interesting rear which you can see in the next photo.
Yes, strangely enough this is the backside of the card. zekzeeeh! Don't pay attention to me, I'm Dutch you know :) Let's take the camera to another angle to get a better view here.
Indeed, as you can see (this is still looking at the backside) that's the WiseFan part. Two fans remain active, if one fan fails or GPU temperature reaches 56 Degrees C, the third (middle) fan will activate. The middle fan also harbors a little blue LED light.
Front side view. S-Video Out, DVI and yes, another DVI connector. I prefer DVI connectors all the way.
