Product Showcase

The packaging USB flash drive is nothing special at default, except for the price that is. We didn't mentioned it just yet but the product is priced at 25 EUR for today's tested 16GB model. Have a peek at some product shoot photo's.

ADATA USB 3.0 Flash Drive

Here we go, the USB 3.0 flash drive called S107, which can be found in the SUPERIOR line of ADATA products.

ADATA USB 3.0 Flash Drive

It has a rated 100 MB/sec read speed, ADATA fails to denote the write speed on packaging, which indicates lack of memory channels and thus lower write performance. Their website denotes 25 MB/sec for the 16GB version. Obviously we'll check that out. Focusing on read performance, the drive is handy and very fast though.

ADATA USB 3.0 Flash Drive

The design of stick is quite slim for USB flash drives. The wraparound housing design has a storage slot for the cap for when the drive is in use. This handy configuration eases worries over lost caps.

The stick is actually waterproof tested at a depth of 1 meter, for 20 minutes. All models offer lifetime warranty and lets you download Norton Internet Security 2012 (60 day trial), UFDtoGO and other value-added software products. An LED light shows the transfer status of the drive.

It's time for another stick drive review here at Guru3D.com, well a USB 3.0 stick that is. The storage unit is all USB 2.0 and 3.0 compatible and it's called the S107 from ADATA's 'SUPERIOR' series of products. We test an easy to carry around 16GB version of this model. This flash drive will get you read performance of roughly 100MB/sec peaks while writing just under 25 MB/sec.
