Abkoncore Helios 500G Sync review - Product Showcase - Exterior

Product Showcase - Exterior

The chassis is a modern looking, mid-sized tower. The left side panel is made of tempered glass.

The opposite side panel is made of steel. The overall quality is good.

Let me just quote the specs here again: the dimensions are 225 x 375 x 450mm (WxDxH), so the size is just below the average for this type of chassis. The following motherboard form factors are supported:

  • Mini ITX
  • Micro ATX
  • ATX

Weighing about 8kg (with the tempered glass panel on), the HELIOS 500G is stable, even without all the stuff inside.

The front is relatively simple, with visible vents on the side and a logo at the bottom.

The top is ventilated and has a magnetic filter.

There’s a removable fan filter at the bottom sector of the chassis. The solid plastic feet have rubber inserts to prevent movement. Let’s proceed to the evaluation of the exterior.
