GSkill Falcon 128GB SSD review
G.Skill has a product here that they should be very proud off, as they made a touch choice, they also are moving towards the all new Indilinx Barefoot controller inside that SSD drive. As such they can fight off the small-block size issues plaguing SSDs based on the JMicron controllers. This product as that phat 64MB cache inside the falcon to deal with it, and combined with Samsung NAND flash modules we reach over 250 MB/sec read speeds and get this, 190 MB/sec write speeds.

A-Data 6GB Triple Channel PC3-12800 C8 review
We mentioned this a couple of times already, but the memory market is fierce and competitive. All manufacturers are competing with each other on some level. Some go for the crown in high-end performance, others for the most low-budget memory one can sell, and then there's mainstream. Probably the biggest market out there. Especially with the release of Intel's Core i7 processors, a new battleground created itself. In the past weeks we tested many high-end kits in a triple channel configuration. A-Data recently released their DDR3-1600+ series memory. This review kit is in particular a 6GB kit triple channel memory kit that is rated PC3 12800 and comes with a nice CAS 8 latency and a price of just 21 USD per gigabyte.

OCZ Vertex 120 GB SSD review
With the Vertex series SSD, OCZ offers an extremely high performing SSD with a new controller and... in addition to that a nice phat 64MB cache to tackle the slow small file write issue. Now taking this course makes SSDs even more expensive then they already are, but hear me out on this one. Technology as shown today at one stage will also reach high volume and yes... then the price will go down as well, much like we have seen with the early generation SSD drives from last year. But sheesh... this thing is fast.

Silicon Power 32 GB Solid State Disk review
SSD is the future, make no mistake. With Silicon Power's product the dynamics change a bit. A couple of weeks ago they released a new series of drives. We got one fresh from the factory, this is their all new revised version. Optionally they make use of SLC NAND flash based memory. In certain situations this type is not only faster, it's also 10 maybe 20 times more reliable as the number of write cycles (per cell) starts at 100,000 writes.

OCZ Core SATA 64GB Solid State Drive review
SSD review - OCZ Technology has the honor to be the first ever manufacturer to have one of their SSD drives tested here at Guru3D.com, and we have others in queue as well. Despite the negative spins from traditional HDD manufacturers and a couple of sour SSD manufacturers who do not have their technology right, let me state .. Solid State Drives are here to stay, and inevitably they will replace HDDs. And by saying that I do not mean in the next 3 years or so. But think of long term usage, this will be the faster technology, this will be a high-volume technology and it will be a reliable technology as there are no more moving parts inside that storage unit.

OCZ SLI-Ready Edition 4GB PC2-6400 DDR2 review
OCZ recently released a SLI ready DDR2 800 kit of memory, not that special yet true; they released a 4 GB kit rated PC2-6400 with tense timings. And that is interesting as the larger your RAM modules tend to get storage size, the more latency they'll get, making them slower in response times. Today's tested memory has pretty okay timings at 5-4-4-15 making this the biggest really fast DDR2 memory available.

OCZ ATV Turbo 4GB memory stick
Okay sarcasm aside, we really don't have a real need for water-proof sticks, but OCZ just launched a new memory stick which is exactly that. Now on a rainy day, knowing that your flash-media is secure and protected enough is quite a good thing. Let me quickly explain to you the stuff that really matters though. This is a 4 GB model which comes with a water-proof and shock resistant design. It should be pretty fast bugger of a memory stick though as it's rated at READ speeds ranging in the 33/35 MB/sec and comes with write speeds of 26-30MB/sec.

Corsair CMX1024-3500LLPRO 2x1024MB

A 2 GB kit from Corsair which we'll compare to some 1 GB and also 512 MB kits and yes of course .. we'll have a specific look at gaming performance.
