Quake 4
First off, who am I kidding, Im willing to bet that if you are a hard core gamer you have already played this game and you are only reading this to see if you agree with it or not. For those of you who havent played this yet, no matter if I said this was the worse game ever made, you will still go out and buy it. Why? Because its Quake and it has a history of being a game where the strong survives and blood and body parts fly. Very few developers other than id software can do this especially when one considers that it has been 6 years now since Quake III.

3DMark06 review
Last year when 3DMark 05 was released (February I think) it became the standard for DirectX 9 benchmarking and it was well received by the consumer and industry. In the months following I however honestly felt the benchmark was good but not yet perfect as some very important features where left out. 3DMark06 entails all the new features and we will take a brief look at this exciting new update of the software. I say update because in essence 3Dmark06 is 3Dmark05, with a complete overhaul of features and exciting end-result.

Call of Duty 2 Review
Developer Infinity Ward obviously doesnt believe in small things, but rather aims towards grand scale of epic proportions. The first Call of Duty did this for the most part with some of the most immense battles and a scale and level of intensity never before witnessed on a PC. This has helped set the Call of Duty series above the rest of the crowded World War II genre. Now, Infinity Ward have released their sequel. Something much bigger, more refined and hopefully much better.

F.E.A.R.
F.E.A.R. is the first notable attempt in a year at toppling the crown of valves epic Half-Life 2; a game that also seemed to have some similarities to busses where time keeping is concerned, although none at all when it comes to a rewarding experience. What we looked at then seemed extremely promising but have Monolith come up with a classic, and should we all be searching for a spare pair of pants?

F.E.A.R. Preview
As many of you will be aware, F.E.A.R (or First Encounter Assault & Recon for short) involves a rather mysterious looking girl in a red dress, a man with an unappetising taste for human flesh, and some rather flashy action set pieces al la' The Matrix. All of this is brought together by one of the best game engines around.
There has been a great amount of talk surrounding this game of late, and as we here at Guru 3d aim to please, it was decided we would take a quick pre-release look at both single player and multiplayer aspects of this game, with some preliminary testing and benchmark results, to give you an idea of just what to expect, and whether your brand spanking new 7800GTX will be just as scared of that Girl in the Red Dress as you!

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
There are many sayings in the English language. Some offer wise insights into life, while others are, well
frankly rubbish! While bigger may not necessarily be better, and quality is often preferable to quantity, what the hell is the point in having a cake if you can't eat it? More to the point, have you ever seen it rain Cats and Dogs, or any other domesticated mammal for that matter?
By now you are probably wondering what the point is to this rant against English proverbs (or a good 'merry quip' as my Grandmother would say). But, you see, Rockstar games is a developer who's bent on going further
breaking the rules
and defying those golden nuggets of wisdom however useful (or useless) they may be.

Knights of the Old Republic: The Sith Lords
There are certain things in your childhood that will always leave an impression on your mind. Those things can never be destroyed, and will always leave their mark. For myself and countless (can you include this screen to the side others in my generation, one of these moments of childhood nostalgia begins with a simple but with text to the right? Thanks!) somewhat emphatic sentence, and ends with the ultimate triumph of good over evil.

Chronicles of Riddick
The game starts with the Riddick taken to the prison. Riddick is supposed to be one of the most wanted criminal in the galaxy. Riddick is like an icon in the game. The most fearless, dashing and feared criminal in the whole galaxy. The storyline is not the same to that of the movie; in fact it's entirely different. It starts somewhere in the past in context to the two movies that we saw on the big screen. It's actually a prequel of the first movie Pitch Black which was released in 1999. Riddick is delivered to the butcher bay by the bounty hunter and is locked up in the Butcher Bay prison.

Medal of Honor:Pacific Assault review
Yes, its that time where another installment of the successful series of Medal of Honor has arrived. The previous game in the series, Medal of Honor:Allied Assault took place during WWII, starting with the horrific, and quite fun, battle sequence of DDay. You're task in the previous game was to infiltrate the German forces and help bring an end to their efforts. Medal of Honor:Pacific Assault is also during WWII, however it concentrates on the opposite side of the globe, namely Japan on the outerlying islands. There has been many years of separation between the first Medal of Honor and this one, so there was plenty of time for improvements, graphical and otherwise.

Half-Life 2 - The review
The moment where the entire graphics industry was waiting on is here, last week after a delay or 200 one of the biggest titles in the history of PC games was released by Valve, Half-Life 2. MotoGP 2 - THQ
Motorbike racing game is very rare either for PC gamers let alone a good one. Beside THQ MotoGP series, others were EA Sport Superbike series, Microsoft Motocross Madness series Micropose GP500 and Delphinesoft MotoRacer Series. When THQ released the first MotoGP for X-Box and PC last year, it really hooked me. With superb graphic/sound and gameplay, the only thing it lack were a complete season track list. With this second release, this game is near perfect to let you enjoy being a real MotoGP rider in DornaSport MotoGP race. Youll find everything from last year 2002 MotoGP season. That mean all the real team, bike manufacturer and track list was included.

Star Wars Galaxies
A game review of Sony's Star Wars Galaxies. SWG takes place just after the time frame of a blown death star, and before the battle of Hoth in The Empire Strikes Back. The time setting is perfect for creation of an MMOG, as the world itself is in an epic struggle in a light Vs dark battle.

Now right off the bat, the differences between this and other shooters comes to light very fast. This is the world's first MMOFPS. (Massively Multiplayer Online First Person Shooter) in where no longer are you held to 32 to 64 players per server on games such as Battlefield 1942, but rather face hundreds and hundreds of opponents via Air vehicles, Ground Vehicles, and infantry in a huge gaming world in a war that is always going on 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

MAFIA review from G.O.D. Games
Mafia starts off like a movie. The music is incredible. But while the voice acting fits the genre, it really could have used a little work on how to not be so monotone.
