Q- I just started a movie and Video player disappeard. Where is it?
A- Press Alt-Tab or click on the subtitles or on the video.
Q- I see an image of the background behind my subtitles! How can I get
rid of it?
A- On preferences try to resize the subtitles a little bit.
Q- I resized the subtiles but now my subtitles are not transparent. What
happened?
A- You must not have any window on the middle of the screen when you use
transparent subtitles. Move the player and/or other windows and try
resize again!
Q- Player quits with "Run-time error '???': bla bla bla" right after
running it what should I do?
A- Delete file "vidplay.cfg" located in the same folder as the Player.
If that doesn't work please contact me with details about the error, the
programs running at the same time and description about your hardware.
there must be a file named "vidplay.log" sent this also!
Q- How do I play Divx (microDVD) CDroms?
A- Just put a DivX Cdrom in your cdrom drive and press CDplay(disc) the
player will search all available CDroms for a file named "mdvd.ini" or "mdvd.mdv"
in the root directory "\" (Download microDVD player and read the Docs
for more information about these files)
Q- How do I play Divx movies from hard disk?
A- Just right click CDplay(disc) and select an ini file (microDVD
compatible format) (Download microDVD player and read the Docs for more
information about these files)) or click on the buttons (video,audio,sub).
Q- How do I make a CD autorun?
A- This function has been partialy removed for the momment
Q- Does your Program save any settigs in windows registry?
A- No it uses a file instead.It's called "vidplay.cfg". But if you used
the installer it writes uninstall information in the registry
Q- What is this Drag and Drop support?
A- Instead of clicking on the buttons in order to select video,audio and
subtitles or choosing quick ini file now you can drag and drop these
files on their buttons.
(Note that error detection code is still limited for now)
Q- How do I resize the video window?
A- Click on prefs (After you load a movie) there is slider named "window
size" (only works in window mode)
Q- Player crashed and my taskbar is invisible what do I do?
A- Run the player again and quit normally (you can press Ctrl-Esc in
order to find your programs)
Q- How can I hide/show the player?
A- Click on the video to show, double click on video to hide!
