HeadCasting Applications

This new technology allows for you to easily communicate with others (even through narrowband internet connections) using your 3D Rendered Head. This idea is actually quite smart. 

You give the computer two photos of yourself (Front & Side View) and from them it will create a 3D Rendered model of your head using the Digimask software. Not only does it render your head in 3D, as you talk, the program moves your lips according to the words being said. This is ingenious as it uses LipSINC technology to make the appropriate movement of your lips from the voice data.

Matrox Visual Presenter for Powerpoint

This allows for you to use the animated 3D Rendered head technology in your powerpoint productions.

Matrox Software DVD Player

This DVD player will provide excellent quality DVD playback and also has support for Dolby Digital Audio and slow motion playback.

Note : People with non-Matrox G550 cards will still be able to view presentations and communications that use Headcasting technology. However, the faces will be forced to be rendered using software based skinning and the heads will be rendered in low definition (lower detail). This is due to the fact that other cards do not support the Headcasting Technology found in the Matrox G550.
