The overview
A new product is out in the line
of Skywell's Magic series. This time it is the Magic Theater PRO (MTP
from now on).
At present terms like high-quality
sound, 3D positional sound, Dolby Digital are well
known among us all so Skywell though 'hey, why not make a package that
does that all' They've gotten around the table with ForteMedia (chip
manufacturer), and designed a Soundcard around the FM810 Chipset from
Fortemedia. Add a nice speaker set to that and voilla, MTP is born. The
Magic Sound Live! is the soundcard  that
powers it all (also for sale/available as stand alone soundcard).
Just to hype you up on what this card can do i'll throw you some phrases
at you. The Magic sound Live! is A3D compatible (Aureal), it is
compatible with Creative Labs EAX (Environmental sound), Sound Blaster
PRO compatible, has QSound 2.0, Yamaha GX50 wavetable sytesizer,
does D3D Hardware acceleration and can actually handle+decode Dolby
Digital AC-3 (5.1) realtime.
So it doesn't matter if you are playing
a game, or wanna watch a DVD movie this baby can do it all with the
up-most compatibility.
