Conclusion,
There is nothing much
to say about this device less than its the perfect network for a lot
of solutions. Wether you are at home, in your office or on the road
this little gem connects PC->PC, Laptop->PC, etc .. easily
and fast. There is only one slight disadvantage
at this time, it only has drivers for Win 95 (OSR2.1 build 1214 and
later) and Windows 98. At this time no drivers are available for
Linux, Windows NT and MAC.
I'm sure that these
drivers will follow soon. For product this good that can't be a
problem for the developers.
The Magic TopLAN is by far the most easy to setup network that i have
ever seen. Next to that it is fast, flexible, allows a lot of
connections and is cheap. The Suggested retail price is about 90$
US.
I prefer the Magic
TopLAN network solution over any network card setup available.
Therefore I recommend this gem to anyone who wants to setup a network
as long as you are on the Win95/98 platform.
